How to Get Your Free Site
We are thrilled to extend a free personal website to all US and international bariatric surgeons attending ASMBS 2025. To be eligible for this promotion, we ask you to complete the following simple steps:
- Claim your certificate by registering at the “No Magic Pill” station located at the Intuitive Surgical booth at ASMBS 2025 conference.
- Visit the Fortris booth (#902) to complete your registration.
- Sign up for our free physician newsletter by clicking here.
- Sign up for a free listing at bariatricsurgerycorner.com by clicking here, or update your existing listing with us.
- Sign up for a free strategy session in person at ASMBS or virtually by Zoom by clicking here or visiting Intuitive’s “No Magic Pill” station at ASMBS 2025.
Terms of This Promotion
- You must be a bariatric surgeon, have attended ASMBS 2025 in Person, and completed all the steps above.
- No purchase from Fortris is necessary.
- The website you receive will be template-based (semi-custom) and not custom-designed. A typeface logo will be provided at no charge. A custom logo can be provided for a fee.
- The promotion includes five web pages and annual hosting. Additional pages will require payment. Written and multimedia content is not included. You will be responsible for providing written and multimedia (photo and video) content, analytics code, HIPAA-compliant contact forms, and other content for the five pages of your choosing.
- The website is available for your brand as a physician and will not be branded to a practice.
- You or an authorized representative will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the website’s content. Websites that are not reviewed or updated via the admin login at least once every half-year will be disabled.
- You will be responsible for securing, paying for, and maintaining a domain name.
- Timelines for completion will vary based on demand.
Additional Terms
Monthly Fees: No maintenance fees will be assessed except as expressly delineated in any separate agreement between the parties..
Intellectual Property: Client agrees to indemnify and hold Fortris Corporation harmless from any claim that arises from materials, ideas, and media provided to Fortris Corporation by Client that infringe upon intellectual property rights, including any unauthorized use of media or testimonials.
Ownership of Work: Custom works will be considered made-for-hire under the United States Copyright Act. Any semi-custom website design, templates, third party or client supplied media including but not limited to fonts, photographs, video, music and illustrations remain the property of their original copyright holder. Software, such as content management systems, plug-ins and applications, remain the property of their respective owners. The design of a templated or semi-custom website will remain property of Fortris Corporation.
Hosting and Domain Name: If the client wishes, Fortris Corporation will provide hosting services through a reputable contracted independent provider. Fortris Corporation is not responsible for any hosting problems or malfunctions due to server errors, downtime, or other issues associated with the unavailability of the website. Client agrees to release and indemnify Fortris Corporation from any disputes or damages caused by the unavailability of the hosting or server, or security breach of the hosting and/or domain name. Specifics of our hosting platforms are available upon request.
This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
